Located just outside the medieval village of Clynnog Fawr on the wild Welsh coast, it sits within easy reach of Eryri (Snowdonia), Ynys Môn (Anglesey) and the sandy beaches of the southern Llyn.

Low carbon since 2009
Ty Coch was built with sustainability at its heart, the heating and hot water are provided by ground source heat pumps run on 100% renewable electricity. We use local suppliers for toiletries, logs & charcoal and our welcome hampers. To encourage wildlife we began ‘rewilding’ in 2009 (although it wasn’t called that then), we intervene a little to create paths, viewpoints, campfires and picnic areas for our guests and let nature do the rest.
