In 2009 we restored and converted the derelict farm buildings to create a private holiday let for families and friends. Ty Coch offers exclusive-use accommodation with hotel-quality beds, linen and towels, designed to combine comfort, character and simplicity — so you can pack light and concentrate on the important things.

The Dairy

With bi-fold doors opening to a spectacular sea view, the dairy is all about eating together . The Dairy is well equipped for home cooks and wannabe chefs, with an outdoor section for cooking on fire. There are big tables indoors and out - and a dinner bell to summon stragglers from the far-flung corners.

The Barn

The Barn has a second living room with the only TV, great for family film nights or for the kids to hang out. There’s a small kitchen and breakfast table for added self-sufficiency.

The Mill

Backing onto the stream, the old mill now serves as a cosy bathhouse for the outdoor bath, it’s where you can change into your robe for those winter dips or hang out by the log-burner.

The great indoors

Our aim is for everything to be well-equipped and well-designed “without being ‘posh’ in a way that you wouldn’t want your young children to touch” - as a guest put it in their recent review. It is all about comfort, simplicity, high-quality natural materials, and the pleasure of well-made things. Everything indoors should help you relax into your holiday with calm, cosy and hard-wearing interiors that leave you sitting comfortably and feeling at ease.

The cottages are just the beginning, set within 5 acres featuring picnic areas, campfires, ponds, a stream, and, of course, the beach! Ty Coch is a haven for wildlife and a place of peace and tranquillity where you can relax and recharge, while the children run wild. Low tide reveals a large sandbank which is perfect for paddling, swimming, kayaking or poking around amongst the rocks.
